Your Role
To support the Air Logistics growth strategy by providing direction on Perishable as per the national product strategy. To drive growth + development of Perishable by collaborating with the various global, regional, national and cluster stakeholders and supporting their initiatives to develop this vertical. To provide updated information to all required stakeholders (sales, key accounts, cluster + national management) on the specified product vertical via regular updates, training, etc.Your Responsibilities
- To ensure that the agreed product growth targets for the vertical are met or exceeded.
- To provide input to RFQs regarding the product vertical as requested to ensure the most competitive pricing and services are offered.
- To undertake customer visits across ASP and if requested overseas to support the growth of the product vertical + where required, to actively sell same directly to selected customers.
- To support the successful implementation of any customers in relation to vertical as required.
- To support regional, cluster and local sales teams in presenting the vertical product to customers - this includes but is not limited to providing up to date communication, training, hands-on support at before, during and after sales calls
- To distribute up-to-date knowledge + information to key regional stakeholders related to the specific product, current and future developments, global and regional customers etc
- To provide product presentations to highlight our capabilities and value to the customer to maximise the opportunity to close business. To create awareness of the needs of the region in relation to the product, drive bilateral development of the product with other regions and manage one-off projects as agreed.
- To identify + propose new ideas for product enhancement, pricing, marketing and drive communication/implementation of the same regionally + globally as agreed.
- To arrange, facilitate and deliver information at different events designed to highlight and promote the specific product (minimum of 1 per quarter).
- To ensure that customer feedback is collected and provided to relevant stakeholders along with suggestions for improvements/prevention.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Degree in (Air)Transport and/or (Air) Logistics or equivalent experience;
- Two years of working experience in the Transport and/or Logistics sector, ideally with a focus on Air Logistics
- Knowledgable about handling Perishable cargo
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Japanese
- Collaborative mindset – sense of urgency and proactive communication.
- Ability to work with demanding deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite
