Internal Communications Specialist [Poland]


 

Description

Hitachi Energy in Lodz is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist who will provide support to production campus leadership team and the Country Communications Manager in Poland. A successful candidate is resourceful and passionate about communications and building an employee brand and employee relations. This position will report to Head of Lodz Campus and Country Communications Manager in Poland.

Job description:

  • Build on and continuously enhance existing internal communications strategy to support key strategic and cultural objectives at Hitachi Energy Lodz production campus, and overarching Hitachi Energy Group strategies.

  • Deploy an internal communications framework for production campus, leading on aspects such as communications governance, content creation, copywriting, quality assurance and distribution.

  • Coordinate development and cascade of internal communications materials to educate, inform and engage key stakeholder groups such as white and blue collars employees and Lodz management team.

  • Lead the communications strand of change, and employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with internal functions: HR, HSE and other initiative owners.

  • Contribute communications expertise to events such as townhalls, and employee engagement activities.

  • Providing best in-class communications expertise to core members of Lodz leadership team.

  • Provide communication advice to managers on communication activities that align with business and cultural objectives.

  • Develop governance, ensure maintenance and quality assurance of internal communications platforms and channels.

  • Measure, analyze and recalibrate communication activities for maximum impact and engagement.

  • Ensure execution excellence throughout the area of responsibility for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy.

  • Deliver wider HE Group communications programs and plans as required, working alongside other members of Communications Team.

  • Create and lead communications campaigns to build employee pride and engagement.

  • Maintain distribution groups and communications channels for Lodz campus.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in communications, preferably in content management, public relations or digital media.

  • Full proficiency in English and Polish, with exceptional written and verbal skills.

  • Advanced communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in administrating and managing SharePoint (Office365).

  • Basic Project Management skills (optional).

  • Highly organized team player, comfortable in a fast-paced global environment.

  • Positive and passionate personality, with a strong drive to challenge the status quo and continuously improve things.
