Junior Sports Reporter

The role
To deliver accurate and timely sport and/or news reports for MediaWorks brands on the radio and digital channels as directed by the Music News Director & Editor/Deputy Editor according to the brand guidelines.
- Research and source original news content
- Write stories in news production platform (NewsBoss)
- Interview sources and cut audio and video for use on MediaWorks stations, websites and social media channels
- Build and develop strong relationships across the business
- Attend news scenes, press conferences, government and local government meetings

About you
- Graduate journalism qualification
- Audio production experience
- Video production experience
- Ability to work across multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Relationship building skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written skills and communication skills
