As a shop assistant you will be responsible for:
1. Receiving, processing and organizing inventory and deliveries.
2. Restock items and ensure that the shop front is kept neat at all times.
3. Assisting customers in locating items.
4. Informing customers of shop promotions and encouraging sales
5. Performing end-of-day duties
6. Addressing and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
7. Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system
8. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
1. Must reside near the Rosebank area and must be able to reliably.commute to Rosebank.
2. Punctual and trustworthy
3. Excellent English communication skills
4. Clean and presentable with sober habits
5. Passionate about retail and customer service
6. Know the basic functions of using an iPad.
This position is based in a mall which means that you will have to work on weekends, two days off will be provided during the week.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R4,500.00 - R5,000.00 per month
