Description and Requirements

Lenovo Manufacturing Kft. is the one and only manufacturing plant in Europe supplying mostly the customer in EMEA region.
We are a young and fast-growing IT manufacturing site in Üllő, Hungary with a Finance Team of 5 colleagues with flexible (hybrid) working schedule.
Your role will be to ensure that leadership is made aware of impactful business decisions and opportunities, while providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake certain aspects of financial management.

• Support Plant Senior Finance Manager in business partnering
• Actively participate and control the preparation of regular financial reports
• Support continuous business performance tracking and business case preparations
• Partnering independently with the business on certain elements of financial performance
• Manage CAPEX procedures and internal controls (budget approval, actual spendings, reporting)
• Help in preparation of complex financial analyses
• Cooperation with partner organizations
• Business process improvement and simplification, establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards
• Execution of other ad-hoc financial tasks

Basic Requirements

• Exceptional business-numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Ability to communicate business objectives and recognize financial implications to the business and plans
• Ability to work with teams across functions and cultures
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong business acumen, ability to influence
• High level of MS Office (mostly Excel, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Professional fluency in English
• 5+ years of proven working experience as a Financial Controller

Preferred Requirements

• Strong orientation towards modern controlling tools, financial modelling & automation.
• Some programming knowledge would be desirable to drive the automation, for better analysis and to create simulations.
• Academic background with a degree in Finance or Accounting (BsC/MsC or higher) is preferred
