Technical Support Specialist (Robotics)

In this role, you will be the technical point person for the Industries Business sales organization in Industries Business in Istanbul/Turkey, providing technical solutions and advice on ABB products systems and applications.

Sales Supp. Mgr.-Technical Sales Support
Your responsibilities
- Develop solutions for industrial operations collaborating with customers, partners and ABB colleagues,
- Develop feasibility studies and simulations for robotic solutions, Provide technical support to the sales team,
- Provide technical support to customers,
- Represent ABB during site visits, communicating at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction,
- Assist sales people during customer visits, Lead concept designs and execute customer demo applications,
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the robots and associated equipment in their designated area of expertise e.g.
- handling, welding, painting, machining and assembly process, applications etc.
- Join marketing activities, To have a good understanding for customers operation and the key facts creating strategically
- competition advantages,
- Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure quality standards and
- customers expectations are met.
- Following new technologies in the field.
Your background
- University degree in Engineering degree (Mechatronic, Electric/Electronics or Mechanic ).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial robotics.
- Knowledge of industrial robot operations and servo systems, including electrical and software interfaces.
- Preferably have a working knowledge of robotic systems such as handling, welding, painting, machining and assembly process, applications etc., for building motion control.
- Experience in welding and painting processes is a plus.
- RobotStudio knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in programing or configuring ABB robots is definite plus.
- Good communications skills and good understanding for customers expectations and good operational skills.
- Good knowledge of English – written and spoken.
- No obligation for traveling.
- A valid driving license, category B.
